Kidding. I'm glad. I was exploring the mall and managed to break into the Build-A-Bear? Got one of the stuffing machines working long enough to make that bear myself.

Couldn't find any clothes for it, though.

Any time. I wasn't really in the mall looking for anything. Sometimes haven gets a little loud for me so I needed quiet. But when I saw all this stuff, I thought Lou would love it.

And she does. She's the best kiddo in town.

Back home, it was just gonna be me and her
Here she has like three aunts and an uncle already
Makes me think this place isn't so bad

You two are part of why I don't think this place is entirely awful.

The place I came from was pretty terrible
Danger around every corner kind of place
And I was alone, nobody but Lou
I know Haven isn't the safest place in the world, but it's better than it was at home and there are good people here
So yeah. Not entirely awful

Now you have a ton of people looking out for you and Lou. That's gotta feel pretty amazing.

And, hey, the people have been a bit nicer since all that Glitching stuff ended. That's helpful, too.

I can understand that. I have some amazing friends, and my boyfriend is one of the best people I know but I keep worrying I'll wake up and it's all just gone. Like...entirely and 100 percent gone and it was just a weird dream.

I get that feeling a lot, too
I'll wake up back in the UCA, dealing with BTs and pretending like I don't know the world is going to end

That just means we have to make the most of the time we have with our friends and all here.

I'm having fun at Pour Judgement, so far
A couple people have come over to visit Lou, which is great

Me, too. Especially the looks of confusion from people when I walk by carrying something that's clearly heavy as hell. It's kinda hilarious.

My job trained me to carry two hundred pounds of cargo on my back
So I guess it never registered to me as weird

I have superpowers. One of them being super strength.

You ever hear anyone in this town mention Ghost Spider?

That's where the handprints come from, if you've seen those on my arms.
Whenever I die, the dead leave a handprint on me.

I was curious about those but wasn’t sure how to ask. Figured it’d be best to leave it up to you to say why.


That’s kind of wild. And crazy.

It's something I've always had, as far as I know. This ability.
I can also sense these creatures that live in our world.
I can't see them, but I know when they're there.
Which is helpful, because they can be deadly if you come into contact with them.
